Values
The Jack Langerman Community Foundation was established to continue Jack’s legacy not only by giving back to the communities that gave so much to Jack, but also by helping develop new ones utilizing the tenets that defined him.
In that spirit the Foundation strives to bring people together, create connections and build communities, and in the process honor Jack’s core beliefs that relationships matter, no one should ever be anonymous, the success of others should be celebrated as enthusiastically as one’s own, and a natural part of anyone’s day should be making someone else’s a little bit better.
Vision
The Jack Langerman Community Foundation intends to build, support, and enhance communities that bring together diverse groups of people with shared interests and kindred spirits.
Our hope is through these communities people will create enduring relationships, gain new perspectives and hone skill sets that will in turn impact others in ways both large and small. Jack’s passion for sports, youth, education, and mentoring provides the Jack Langerman Community Foundation with its starting point; only the imagination and enthusiasm of the Foundation’s supporters will define its limitations.
Our Logo
In many ways, the logo for the Jack Langerman Foundation is just so . . . Jack. Its sunshine icon represents the brightness with which Jack greeted each day, and its outsized emphasis on community reflects his belief that we are all made better by those around us. Both of those concepts are founding principles of the Foundation and give it its North Star. Even better, the logo’s design and development was a collaborative effort between Jack’s cousin and the mother of a young baseball player Jack once helped coach – one of the most Jack things ever.
